What a joyous year it has been up here at the North Pole since the news arrived of your birth. I remember the day when Mrs. Claus and I heard the news. Dexter, our head Elf rushed into our kitchen while we were having some hot peppermint tea and sugar cookies. He said “today on was born at ” Mrs. Claus and I both rejoiced when we heard about your arrival. Now, I do realize that you are pretty young and will not be able to read this letter for a while. But I couldn’t wait to write to you to and let you know that I am very excited to celebrate this first Christmas with you . You are such a precious child and I know that your parents count themselves blessed to have you in their lives. I want you to know that I have been working very hard this year to make this Christmas season the best of all. I am looking forward to coming to your house each year and bringing you some toys to play with that will provide you with lots of fun for many years to come.
Since this is your first Christmas , I will place your name on the Nice list. This is an honorary position because once you are older you will have to listen and follow the rules to earn your spot on this special list. You are such a precious baby and a joy to your family. I’ll make sure to tell your parents to teach you all about the Christmas Holiday and what the season is really about. I know that each year as you get older you will realize how much you are loved by your family and all of us up here at the North Pole.
